The Legend of Dororo and Hyakkimaru

In ancient Japan’s Warring States era, a Samurai general named Daigo Kagemitsu makes a pact with 48 demons. In exchange for complete dominion over the country, he promises to give them his unborn child’s limbs. Once the child is born, Daigo commands him to be disposed of in the river, thinking that he’ll die. But a kind-hearted sage rescues the baby and gives him prosthetics.
As the boy grows up and becomes Hyakkimaru, he gains control over the demons who took his limbs, ultimately allowing him to reclaim them. Along the way, he saves an adolescent pickpocket named Dororo from a group of thugs, and both embark on a journey to locate and defeat the demons. However, their path is rife with supernatural beings and apparitions.
